One afternoon a sparrow flew into the office where I work and landed on the boss’s head. It flew around and landed on various employees. That morning I had heard on the radio that scientists had measured the Earth and found that it was The idea that this might have been a miscalculation was not addressed. Later it occurred to me that this small shrinkage may have formed a fissure in the nature of things just large enough for the sparrow to slip into office life. |
